Welcome everyone to my third video game review!!!

today i decided to do a review on a game that i just recently fell in love with. Metroid Other M!

Metroid Other M features a bounty hunter named Saumus for those of you who dont know her. in previous games, the story was you just have a mission to take out a parasite species called metroids, but this metroid game is very different. Why? well i'll tell you right now!

Metroid Other M Review by Nick Anderson:

Story: The story in this game is very different from past games. First of all because SAMUS TALKS! Thats right, in Metroid Other M we get to hear our hero speak for the first time as she reveals to us her past long before she was ever a bounty hunter. Her voice was casted perfectly, the story is engaging, and we can relate to the characters from the moment they say their first line. There is also a feature where you can actually act during the cut-scenes. so if you get attacked during a cut-scene, you will get hurt if you dont dodge the enemy. So an amazing story like this deserves nothing less than a perfect 5.


Graphics: Well this is a difficult topic for this game. So the only appropriate way of describing it is as that best graphics Nintendo has ever produced. Animations for all the characters are perfected with no glitches. Materials used for water, lava, rocks, metal all these have the right look and texture to them which makes it look extremely realistic. And lastly for this topic is the cut-scenes. Alone i cant accurately explain these without it being an understatement so i will show you one of the cut-scenes

no questions asked, Graphics is also a 5


Gameplay: For those of you who have played previous Metroid games all the way from Metroid on nes to the Metroid prime series, will be happy to know that Metroid Other M has made a flawless combination of both the gameplay styles. Holding the wii remote sideways will be the original Metroid mode, and aiming the wii remote at the screen will switch you over to "Prime" mode. Like i said before this gameplay is well built and flawless. i have yet to find any problems with this set up. You can watch trailer demonstrating the gameplay style here and yet another perfect 5.


Music&Sound: I explained a little about this in earlier topics but there are a few points i didn't touch. So like i explained earlier, voice acting was perfect. lip sync was great and they casted the actors perfectly. The sound effects that came from creatures, weapons, ect. kept the game interesting and the sound effect changed so they never got old. And as far as music, Metroid has had a history of good music throughout all the games, and Metroid Other M did not disappoint.

While playing this game i found no flaws or glitches. It kept me entertained, and the graphics and sound were stunning. Metroid Other M is totally deserving of its perfect score

im gonna tell u guys a secret... ive never played a metroid but now i want to

it took about 20 min. mostly because i was tracking down videos

and dont worry about it. metroid other m has a story that even newcomers can understand

i suspected as much but dont worry about it. just edit stuff that needs to be edited and make them aware of the mistake.

exactly. but most importantly have fun on the forum

Dont warn them if they don't understand, but warn them when they do it delibaretly, but like nick said, Its not a big problem, dont worry about it.

ohj sorry ive did that on a lot .... ill clear it up

yup anyway. metroid other m. never gets boring. and its about a 14 hour game, which is excellent for an action game as every moment is either fast paced, or suspensful and your always alert there is never a calm moment.

its a direct sequel to super metroid for super nintendo. the first cutscene in metroid other m is also a cinematic version of the last cutscene of super metroid.

kinda. it actually has to do with the game because the reason it shows it is because samus relives the tragic moments of her past as she is unconscious.

yes a very tragic past. if by tragic you mean. watching the metroid that saved her life die samus losing her parents at a young age and her leaving the only person who understood her to become a bounty hunter
