Metroid: Other M

Postby dclarke742 » Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:19 pm

I thought there was a Topic on this but i can't find it. I brought this game today and can't wait to play it, unfortunatly i can't until sunday because i'm house (and dog) sitting for my auntie and my Wii is at my house, but i thought i'd start this topic so we can talk about it properly, and how it has changed to resemble the classic version and less like metroid prime :D

well my firend bought it so i can tell a little about it :) first of all, for the first time samus has a voice and we can actually connect with our bounty hunter and put our thoughts onto what her life is like. so that is awesome. samus looks back on her past many times in the game which gives us an idea about how she became a bounty hunter and why. gameplay is fun and it combines classic and prime gameplay. and there is also a new type of gameplay which is awesome. :) my only complaint is that you cant move while in first person mode (i like to call it prime mode) , and that the camera is annoying under certain conditions, its a little bit hard to explain so i'll let you find out what i mean by that :)

i have yet to get the game myself but what i did see i told. hope that helped! :)

I hope goldeneye 007 comes out as quick on the wii. same as the 3ds.
I've noticed that we've forgotten about the 3ds in this forum :(

Well i think i prefered goldeneye more, but i've not really played metroid enough to say for sure as i've not got very far because im a bit pre ocupied with college at the moment.

BUT THEY ARE BOTH AWSOME, although classic controller support on metroid other m would be nice :D

Yeah, ive been thinking about it for a while and i think that metroid other M is better than the goldeneye remake but goldeneye is better than both of them, but super metroid on the SNES was even better, i think other M and the new goldeneye are as closly matched and the old goldeneye and super metroid :D

I agree. But i think goldeneye n64 should be paired with metroid on the nes, it was a better game.
