on the Eshop moview will cost money yes. but it is my understanding that there will be 3d videos and trailers to download for free as well. you can also watch movies you put on the sd card.

well they have one 3ds video on it right now, and it uses the 3d very well.

hey, sorry if this an ignorant question.. but how can i watch 3D movies on 3DS? i'm very interesting in doing that... do i need to purchase special glasses ?

Nintendo can use Nintendo Video powered by netflix for short 3d movies, or they could do quite like what with the psp. The psp had umd movies. Maybe the 3ds can have nintendo 3ds card movies. just a thought lol

At this time it's not possible to watch 3D movies on 3DS. But this may be possible in future.
