Oh man, didn't we just get done with an announcement?! Now we're onto the next rumored event?

Word on the street is that some sort of Wii announcement is coming on October 11th. What in the world could this announcement be about? I would guess that is has something to do with the Vitality Sensor, since it's been really quiet on that front for awhile now. Of course, we don't even know if this announcement rumor is the real deal. Best we can do is keep an eye out on Oct. 11th!

WOW another one, i hope we have the vitality sencer, Zelda and i want them to say "about the 3DS, we lied, its coming out tommorrow for £5", but i think that last one is a bit too wishful

Nintendo shoots down Wii announcement rumor

Earlier today, word came out that Nintendo had a big announcement concerning the Wii coming up on Oct. 11th. Nintendo has actually commented on the rumor, and they say that they have no knowledge of any announcements concerning the Wii set for Oct. 11th. They also say that they can't comment on the validity of the rumor, but I think their first statement says more than enough.

yup, but shigeru miyamoto already announced it and notice the title- RUMOR - 'Wii announcement coming up Oct. 11th'
so there is something brand new coming out for the wii otherwie thi is just a rubbish rumor

there are always rumors like this.

only a small few of them are true. but the vitality sensor could be the meaning of this one. only i cant think of a use for it except just to make sure you arent dead

I fell for the wii HD adaptor rumour- it was said that it was going to be announced march 1st 2010, I waited and realised I was tricked. I wasn't a techno geek at that time.

Fakie, rip offs
I was saddened to realise that the NEW xbox aswell can handle up to 720p hd, and the ps3 can handle TRUE 1080p.
My 360 slim sold for £269.87 (thats 425 dollars)
I gave forza 3 and batman arkham asylum away with it and there was the fact that I installed washers under the gpu meaning that I fixed the red light of death error which meant there were LOADS of bids
But it finally sold to someone in nottingham.

there isn't going to be any conference on october 11th from what i know, i think its just another usual rumour. or maybe the wii remote plus will start selling that day, you never know
